Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Writing comes easily to me.

I have tutored my friend's daughter in math and English. I have assisted her with science and social studies projects. Her ADHD can inhibit the learning process, but we are able to work through the problems. Learning about weighted blankets helped me work with her. She is a kinetic learner. my nieces are both visual learners. I have to adapt to each learning style.
Teaching brings me pleasure. What I do is to show them, help them, then have them do whatever I am teaching them to do. Sometimes one of the steps may have to be repeated, but this process really works well.

The last ten years of my teaching career, I taught Adult Basic Education at Orange Grove Center in Chattanooga, TN, English as a Second Language as well as some GED prep classes for Chattanooga State Techinical Community College.
