I am currently in school to become a middle school language arts/social studies teacher. I am about to enter my junior year of college. I have volunteered in middle school classrooms. I have been doing one-on-one care with individuals with mental/physical disabilities for the past year and a half working for the Arc of NC. I have volunteered as a tutor at the Pullen Hope Center in Raleigh, tutoring adults trying to get their GED's.

I studied Biology at Warren Wilson College in hopes of becoming a high school biology teacher. While at college, I did over one hundred hours of service tutoring and mentoring high school and middle school students in Buncombe County.
