Still fresh out of college I have been looking for an area to exercise my expertise in writing and my knowledge of literature. Although I have no formal experience in a teaching position I do believe an opportunity in tudoring would be great experience for me and beneficial to those I can help. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching. I always get well prepared before I sit down with someone. A couple of hours of preparation beforehand can make the difference between a tedious, unproductive experience and one that encourages the student and makes the excited about learning. I try to help with sticking points and not to lecture. I have discovered that people tend to remember answer to their questions and if I try to explain a deeper meaning it will only bore them and make them less interested.
At the University of Illinois at Chicago I earned a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering and worked as a teaching assistant for three sememsters of graduate school.
