My tutoring experience has begun in college, when I would assist with Japanese and math lessons between classes and the campus job. Over 12 years since then, regardless of where my professional life takes me, I have had the privilege of working with various clients in terms of age, background, and objectives. A Little Bit About Me...

I am very adaptive to students learning style. I usually spend the first ten minutes of our first meeting figuring out what the student is struggling with and how to best meet their needs. I try to teach students more how to think analytical more so then just solving problems because it is more beneficial to the student. I feel that if I can teach the student how to read theorems, understand concepts, then problems just become easy at that point.
I started tutoring part time in 2004 and have continued this throughout college. I worked as a math tutor for tulsa community college part time during the summer. I have earned over 190 hours of college credit, I have two degrees, and I am only 15 hours away from a chemical engineering degree.

I want my students to enjoy learning so that they will be motivated. I have found that one of the best ways to make learning enjoyable is to make it accessible to the student. A student who understands the course work will enjoy the learning process and be motivated to work harder than a student who does not.
