My comments on tutoring Anatomy : Human anatomy is a complex subject that goes far beyond memorizing nomenclature for the various systems. I teach anatomy and physiology with some historical trivia about the study of anatomy to keep students interested.

It has been my great pleasure to have taken part in several classroom setting teaching opportunities and numerous tutoring jobs. I taught Chemistry and Calculus to incomming university freshman in the Engineering Freshman Transition Program (eFTP) and proctored and designed the University of Florida's Tissue Engineering Lab class. While in university I tutored every mathematics dicipline from pSAT prep to Differential Equations and Astrodynamics. I've worked as an environmental scientist for the past 15 years. I have a B.S. Biology/Limnology and completed General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, Biochemistry. I have many years of experience related to preparing scientific reports. I enjoy tutoring.
I enjoy sharing what I know and have learned with others. I have a 7 year old son and believe patience is a valuable characteristic of mine. I'm also very easing going and get along well with most people. When tutoring, I first attempt to help someone understand a subject especially chemistry as structured in the text book but whenever possible, if the situation requires, I will try to simplify the subject in any way possible until the student makes it over the hump and then the text version usually becomes more clear.

Of the essence in tutoring is to make the subject pertinent and fun, as well as applicable to everyday life. For small children, we have phonetics to help the child master sounds and words. I do use Ipod teaching games to involve the child actively.
