As a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Claflin University, I have just completed a bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I have experience with tutoring my peers in mathematics, biology, and chemistry. In addition, I have served as an English tutor for two years at the Claflin University Writing Center.
My description of teaching involves directly explaining the material to the student and then have the student to teach me the subject or concept that was just learned. This insures that the student fully understands the concept, thus the concept can be applied to problem solving.
