Every child can learn, but they don't all learn the same way

I have a degree in biology. I was planning on going to medical school at one point so I focused on human anatomy and human physiology. I just do what works for the students. I find it easier to teach shyer kids, because that's how I was, but, I'm always up for a challenge!! Also, elementary kids are easier, but again, always up for a challenge! I usually try to figure out how they learn, maybe through a hobby, or something like that.
I've never tutored for money, but I usually help my friends out with homework, school work, ect. I just need the money, so I figured why not tutor? It seems fun. So, I got on here, and viola! A Little Bit About Me...

I received a B.A. degree from Central Oklahoma University in 1966. My major was English and my minor was Social Studies. I taught English in grades 9-11 for forty years.
