Elementary Tutor

I was an early childhood classroom teach for 1 1/2 years. Recently,like focusing on individual students I learned that working in a whole group classroom is not for me. I and helping them more in depth. I still have a huge passion for teaching and am going back to school in the spring to specialize in reading. I have also had experiences in childcare for 10 years. Every child can learn, but they don't all learn the same way

I have been teaching for over 10 years. I am currently a second grade teacher. I tutor during the summers and have students of all ages, including middle school and high school. I believe all children can learn. It takes a special teacher to find out how a child learns and create lessons to engage that learning style. What works for one student doesn't always work for every student. I am a loving and positive teacher by nature. Word origin and grammar usuage is how a student builds their writing skills! I find diffrent ways to help children understand what they are learning in a fun way.
Throw out my high school year I was in a program called “Learn and Serve”. This program consisted of going to the closest elementary school for an hour a day and be a teachers aid. Therefor, I help any student who was having difficulties. In some cases would even help teach a lesson if the only adult in the room was a sub teacher.
