I have gone through a lot of different experiences throughout life, and I'm more than happy to help and share those experiences if you'd allow me. I started playing piano at a very young age (7 years old) and afterwards started to pick up other instruments along the way which resulted in all county for Tuba (3rd chair 2010) and in that same year becoming a drum major. I've learned much about music theory, as well as keeping up with every other course I selected while in school. I have experience in the military and with that comes a level of professionalism that can easily be seen once eyes are set upon me. Before the military I was an intern for many different jobs at MacDill AFB and that simply added to my knowledge including theater, and how to help other unlock their hidden potential for drama! I have played piano as long as I can remember. I took lessons from Rachel Daugherty in elementary school. I took lessons from Lauren Mann in middle school. I took lessons from Louise Barfield my Freshman and Sophomore years in high school. I currently take lessons from Tom Rule. I have been the pianist at my church for almost three years. I have won awards at Literary Competitions for playing the piano. I have accompanied the chorus at my school. I can teach with a classical, contemporary, or sacred emphasis. My style puts a focus on theory and technique, which are important foundations for becoming an outstanding pianist. My desire is to not only teach piano but to also instill a passion for music within my students.
