Being someone who likes to see the "big picture" of concepts and ideas, I struggled through math as a child, believing that I didn't understand it. I finally realized one day of the simplicity in it and actually began to enjoy solving problems one step at a time. A Little Bit About Me...

I don't have a wide teaching experience but I do enjoy working and helping Elementary or junior high leveled children. Ay my most recent job, I worked in a dept called 'PLAYLAND" where I was responsible for taking care and keeping the children of our customers entertained and busy as their parent's shopped for groceries. I have also assisted a choir class in high school for kids around my age at the time. I believe I am very good with children and I can show them much support and confidence in themselves with their struggle through their learning. I know I can be trusted and loyal to these students. A Little Bit About Me...

While I was a student at the College of Menominee Nation I was a tutor in the accounting and math areas. I am also very good with computers. I have been out of school for a few years, but I am always willing to help out anyone who had a question, and If I can help them out it's all the better.
I am not a teacher, but I like to think that I can help out in a way that the student or person I am tutoring will learn. I love working with people, and anyway that I can help them learn better makes me feel better. I have children of my own and help them out with school work. I feel that they need to do the work in order to learn the best. My favorite jobs that I have had dealt with working with children. I love working with children and making a difference in their lives. No two children are the same and that is why they deserve one on one communication. Each child has their own way of learning and that is why it is important to get to know them on a personal level.
For the past four summers I have worked in a childcare setting. Last summer I did an internship at a Headstart and the previous three summers I worked at a daycare. The last twenty years of my full time teaching experience was in elementary gifted education. I currently serve as an adjunct math instructor at Fox Valley Technical College. I would feel most comfortable tutoring any elementary subject and some secondary math courses.
