A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with students of all ages. In my experience, I have found that what may work for one student does not work for another. As a teacher, it is my job to find how I can help the student reach their learning goals. In order to do this I individualize the learning experience through scaffolding, inquiry learning, effective study habits and time management. I know that the potential to learn is within every student and I strive to find a way to help them be successful.
As a 2009 graduate of Eastern Washington University, I have teaching experience at the middle and high school. I currently hold a Washington State Teaching Certificate in Social Studies and Language Arts. While at EWU I worked as a tutor for the NCAA to keep athletes eligible to play.
