While studying at Albion college I worked on two separate college funded research teams as well as worked as a TA with large groups of students as well as small groups. After graduation I worked at a public high school in Flint, Michigan as an at risk interventionalist. My longest position was at University of Massachusetts, Lowell campus, (1993 through 2004, before moving to Florida), teaching 3 different levels of Freshman Chemistry.
