I have over 20 years experience teaching in Japan.

I like to make the classes a lot of fun, with a lot of laughter, because I realised when I was still in high school that the fun classes stayed in my mind and I learned more in them. I also tend to befriend my students, against the conventional wisdom that there should be a wall between. If they are relaxed and can trust me, they will also learn better.
I have lived in Japan now for 27 years. I am planning to return to the U.S. in April. I have and am currently teaching in 23 locations with upwards of 34 classes/lessons per week.
