A Little Bit About Me...

As a student in high school, I became fascinated with Chemistry and went on to earn a BS in Chemistry. The position I landed after school dealt with additives in rubber and plastics, so eventually I went on to earn a MS degree in Polymer Science. This helped me to land a better position. When the recession hit around 2000 and I lost my job, I determined to learn more about computers and summarily earned two AA degrees while working first part-time and later full-time in the computer field. My education background has given me a good understanding in math and science which helped me last year as I tutored several Middle and High school students in math and English

I recently completed a Youth Staff contract aboard Royal Caribbean. Along with entertainment, we promoted learning and creativity, offering educational activities through science experiments, and expression through art projects, theme nights, and parades. I've taught English classes for kids/teens in Brazil, and led equestrian programs in Greece for troubled and disabled local children. My experience with education has always been an awesome one. I love learning and I love teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. It is my belief that every person learns differently. Students learn best by different methods and learn at different methods. I find that the best way to tech a student, especially in a one on one environment is to find how the individual best learns and use that, rather than trying to teach by any already formulated method.
