I believe each child learns in their own way. It is the job of the instructor to facilitate the child's learning. Patience is key and a comfortable pace.
I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida A & M University and hold a valid Letter of Eligibility for teacher certification. My teaching experience includes working as an ESE Aide, high school substitute and tutor in Alachua and Orange County. For the past year I have been working with students with disabilities. I have a undergraduate degree in Biology with emphasis in chemistry and environmental science. I earned a Masters in Environmental Science. I am currently taking courses in forensic science and writing. I also have taken education courses from Brigham Young University in Education Psychology and Counseling. I have excellent computer skills in a wide range of programs including Macintosh. I am a extensive reader so have knowledge in a wide range of subjects.
Teaching is one of the greatest gifts to give a child at any age. I have been given a great opportunity to teach many children a different grade levels.
