Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I have over ten years of experience teaching children, teens and adults with dyslexia. I follow the Orton-Gillingham philosophy and I can use Wilson materials.

I have been a classroom teacher and a tutor for children, teens and adults who are deaf, hearing impaired, speech/language impaired, social/emotional impaired, cognitive delay, autistic, ADHD, etc. I have also taught early childhood children from birth. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned two masters, one in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and the other in Educational Leadership. I hold a Florida certification for ESE with English Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) endorsement. In addition to college courses I have completed College Board’s Springboard training and have successfully used it to help students increase test scores. I have taught all subject areas in middle school ESE settings for six years in a variety of classroom models.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a newlywed and young mother, I decided to pursue an education degree at the University of Florida. I maintained a 3.85 grade point average. While at the University, I discovered a passion for helping children reach their educational goals. I have spent the last seven years instructing my children.
