I firmly believe in students succeeding in school and life. Having a love for learning and school is the key to good grades and a healthy attitude. I don’t believe any child wants to fail. Quite the contrary, children want to succeed. When students fail, it is because the system failed them and not the other way around. I believe the key to teaching kids is to help that child experience immediate success so they can gain self esteem during critical elementary school years. Each student learns in their own way and sometimes that way is not in a classroom setting. A teacher to me is someone who has developed a way to make each student understand the subject matter.
