I own my own science consulting firm and like to dedicate a certain percentage of my time to education and public outreach projects including teaching, mentoring, and tutoring. My first job was on the faculty of a teachers’ university in China, where I taught computer science courses. In 1996 I came to the United States to study mathematics, and earned a Master's degree from Indiana University. A Little Bit About Me...

During my four years at Notre Dame, I majored in mathematics and gained alot of experience in various areas of math. In addition, Notre Dame requires everyone to take a broad range of subjects for general credit and so I have learned skills in writing and grammar through work on several research papers. In my spare time, I tutored elementary age kids with homework and this last summer, I spent five weeks teaching primary school math in Uganda. Lastly, for the last three years, I worked as both a group tutor and an individual tutor for the First Year of Studies program at Notre Dame.
