Learn from the basics

I have taught several students in India, and I am quite properly understand the knowledge and the background required to teach subjects. I was myself a college topper and a school gold medalist. Hence I can teach and inculcate the knowledge of teaching in students. Learning maths and science is something very elementary if understood from the basics and in-depth. Thus it is very important that a student should learn, read and write all in-depth. This learning curve is something that I have tried to develop in myself from years to come and hope to imbibe the knowledge of it in several other students. I had got 167/170 in my GRE thus the basics of my maths is quite strong. I have even taught several students in India about how to crack this exam and helped several for cracking this exam too. My way of teaching can vary depending on the student because not all students learn the same. Some students can be completely clueless about a certain area or problem, while others may know a little more but get lost at a certain point. What I tend to do is to carefully go over the book instructions, chapter section, notes etc.. because I know that sometimes part the reason why they don't understand is because he/she did not read the instructions or did but still did not understand them. Afterwards I will let he/she start a problem and if he/she still has trouble, I will then explain very carefully and then I will ask if he/she understood; if not i will explain again if yes, then I will give him/her a different example very similar and won't let him see the notes to see if he really did in fact understood.
