My comments on tutoring Microsoft Office : I have taken courses to help my perfect my Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint,and Access skills. I can help anyone learn how to use this tool and have university-sanctioned activities through which to do so.

I am in my third year at Ball State University. I recently changed my major from Biology to Accounting; therefore, I have lots of knowledge in many different areas - some that aren't listed on my profile. I am experienced in categories ranging from Biology to Accounting to baking. I won several Grand Champion awards in Indiana's Madison County 4-H program for Baking and Woodworking while I have A's in Chemistry, Accounting, Biology, Spanish, Calculus, and many many other subjects from Ball State University. I like to teach as if I am one friend talking to another. I find that this is the most relaxed way to encourage learning. As an undergraduate, I attended Purdue University and worked as a teaching assistant where I ran my own lab, instructing students for one of their core management courses. In my junior year, I was asked to apply to an invitation-only program for an an accelerated MBA program only for exceptional students. I am now entering my final year of this program and will graduate in 2011 with a BS in Business Management and a Masters degree in Business Administration. The graduate program is team focused and emphasizes working with and teaching diverse groups of people.

I have an MS in mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a math-science-engineering college located in Terre Haute, IN. I have successfully tutored high school and college students from basic math through statistics. My high school students have improved their math qualifying exam scores substantially.
