I believe that teaching needs to be fun and engaging for students. If they can touch and experience what they are learning, they are much more likely to remember the key concepts they are being taught. Students also need to be shown how what they are teaching relates to the real world. All of this can be accomplished using research based methods that are proven to be effective in teaching students of all ability levels. A Little Bit About Me...

During the past two years, I have taught Medical Terminology at the college level. Previously, I wrote and presented workshops for early childhood education teachers. Not only did this allow me to teach, it required me to continue my education in all academic areas. With a bachelor degree in Human Services Management and an associate degree in Medical Technology, I have gained much experience in Math, Science, Management and Public Speaking.
My goal is to help each child reach his or her potential. The best way to do this, is to first identify the child's learning style.
