I have lead many training sessions dealing with a multitude of different topics. I do my homework, and make sure I am fully prepared before any training session. I want to make sure I know the answers to any possible question before the questions are asked. I have tutored students one-on-one and in small groups from different levels of math to every aspect of English, grammar, and writing. I have taught many classes in painting and drawing, and I am a constant student of all areas of art, including photography.

I have been writing for my whole life, and have a love of the art that is description. Since Mich of humanity's understanding is based on metaphor, description and its subtleties is a key part of any writing process, be it creative or instructional.My favorite form of writing is creative, however I also enjoy writing essays and other pieces based on fact. No matter what form of writing you endeavor to do, getting your point across through description is paramount. Since January 2008, I have had the opportunity of tutoring at risk 9th, 10th, and 11th graders at Leeds High School's AVID (Achievement Via Individual Determination). I attempt to teach them critical thinking skills, reading skills, as well as studying skills. I have worked with the AVID program while I completed my Masters Program.
I love working with adolescents. I believe with all of my heart that each teen has the ability to accomplish great things with the proper motivation. I truly believe that children, teens as well as adults learn best by doing. I do not believe in teaching to a particular topic.
