I have worked in art and graphic design professionally for the past 6 years, however I have been freelancing and creating art for myself since 1998. I previously worked for the Hayward Area Historical Society, which included assisting in design for exhibits as well as some teaching to visiting school groups. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have much experience tutoring in this area, and have taken classes in Reading Comprehension. I understand very well what I read, and can answer questions well, about the literature I read.

My teaching style is multi-dimensional, and personally tailored to each specific student. Each student is unique and special. Everyone has a different learning style, which means each person has different need in terms of how they learn. I learn about each student, and take the time to figure out how they take in information. Also how they best understand their course material, and whether their learning style is Visual, Auditory, or Kinesthetic. Perhaps a person's learning style is a combination of these three things. When I teach, I use colors (pens/markers), diagrams, figures, counting figures(ex: colored counting bears), and a writing board to work out/solve math problems. Education is key to a good life.
