While going to college at the UW – Eau Claire, I've been a math and statistics tutor for the past four years. I've also been a Teacher’s Assistant for a statistics Professor where my duties consisted of running review sessions for the class before quizzes and exams along with grading homework and exams. I have completed four statistics courses dealing with different areas of statistics. I also have experience in one-on-one tutoring. Over the past four years I’ve tutored seven students individually meeting at the library to work. Last year, though, I worked with a student who had Cerebral Palsy. I worked with him individually at his own home. I thought it was a great experience and we had a blast working together.

As a graduate of bachelor and currently a master’s candidate of a biomedical engineering program, I’ve taken courses in various departments: math, physics, engineering, and biology. One of the most important skills I learned was piecing together the techniques learned all of the classes, to solve and communicate multi-disciplinary problems. A strong basic educational core is vital for success in any field. A Little Bit About Me...

During my research-based M.Sc. study in Microbiology, I TA'ed three undergraduate courses (General Biology & Introduction to Microbiology). Over the years, I have become more aware of myself so that I can learn more efficiently. I scored well on my ACT (33) and my GRE (the grad school equivalent of the SAT - 690 for verbal, 740 for quantitative), and was able to attend well-regarded schools for my scientific training.
