As a Controller, analyst and consultant of Computerized Accounting systems for small and medium sized businesses, I have 25 years plus, of extensive experience training and teaching both accounting and non-accounting executives how to data entry in 'subsidiary journals' like Accounts Receivable, Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets and how to reconcile to 'control accounts' in General Ledger. My approach to tutoring would be to explain the mechanics of recording business transactions (two sides to a transactions, thus "double entry") rather than rote learning.This would benefit them to pass exams as well as in business if they chose to pursue a career in business and finance.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored others ever since I can remember helping out my peers. Teachers believed that I had an ability of not just understanding the information/assignments, but to get the everyday student to be able to understand it as well. My bachelors degree in Psychology is reflective of wanting to know the best way to interact with people and help them achieve their desired result(s).
