I have always been an honors student and am currently taking the highest levels of math (AP Calculus) and spanish (Spanish 5) at my high school. Physics and Mathematics Tutor

From my tutoring experience I have noticed that most students who have trouble understanding a difficult concept do so because they did not understand a more basic prerequisite concept, so I try to help students "fill in the gaps." When working with students, I work through a few problems with them, and then I have them do a few problems on their own to see if they understand. If I see that the student does not understand some prerequisite concepts required to solve the problems, I make sure to have them understand those concepts before continuing with the current problems.
