All throughout high school I tutored younger kids with homework or specific needs in classes. I'm very flexible and very hands-on with my teaching. As a visual learner, it helps me to have a visual aid whenever I can and I employ that in my teaching. My strategy is to make learning fun for the students. Worked as a teacher assistant for 10 years and the office for 5 years. I am use to an educational setting and is familiar with the education process of tutoring children. I have worked with fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in preparing them for MCT tests and exit exams. I have tutored in elementary english, math and computer. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style totally depends on my student. Every one has a different learning style, and I try to be adaptable. I believe you must create a relaxed and and supportive atmosphere for the learner. Projecting a sense of confidence in the student goes a long way towards helping him/her achieve his/her educational goal. Lots of time the student has the skills but is not sure enough of himself/herself to proceed. I am just the prompter.
