My teaching style varies from student to student. I like to get to know the student in order to maximize their understanding of the subject. Everybody does learn differently, so I am open to change for that said student.
To be honest I do not really have any experience of being a tutor. I am a senior at Reagan High school and for the most part I tutor other classmates and family members. Mostly recently I broaden my range to elementary to high school. I do very well in mathematics except for geometry, Pre-cal, abd calculus because i am not registered for those classes. Learning Math can be FUN!

With over 35 years experience teaching math, I have successfully taught students from third grade through college calculus. I enjoy math, and my students are able to understand it in a one-to-one teaching environment. Experienced math tutor.

I have been tutoring at Forsyth Technical Community College since September 2008. I work on average, over the 5 years, 15 hours a week, but now working 21 hours a week since I am now out of school. I have done private tutoring for about 3 years now, either with people from met from school or from tutoring. I got a BS in both Mathematics and Computer Science in May of 2013. Math and computers have always been my strength, and when getting my degree, I would always help my friends in their classes.
It depends on the student and what they are doing. If all they need is practice, then I will let the student do all of the work, interjecting only to give advice or to correct a mistake if the student does not catch it themselves. Tutor for accounting/math and elementary students!

I'm a hands-on learner. I believe in learning from mistakes. I encourage students to try and see how far they get before they stumble then we can work through their problems together. Sometimes they know more than they think and all they need is a confidence boost! A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with Elementary children for over 10 years now. I have helped all ages with homework, sports, and life skills (current job now as EC TA). I also have been coaching for the past five years in cheerleading and soccer, but in different age groups. I have been in the school system for the past year in a half and have worked on phonics, math, science, and life and social skills with AU students.

My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I have experience and training in teaching math to students in grades K-5th grades.

I received my Master's degree in 2011 in Special Education. During this time, I have successfully worked with students who have ADD/ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
