I have been teaching special education for six years. I taught special education to kindergarten through third grade in a Montessori school for four years. My teaching style is very hands on. I employ a visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile (VAKT) method for remembering the rules of the English language. This method is described as "direct" or hands on and one-on-one. I only work with one student at a time.

I have obtained my GED and have always had straight As in high school. I'm also familiar with construction and building skills. I am a visual learner and will do my best to make the teaching fun. During that time I took all the pre-reqs for the Accelerated Nursing program, earning a 4.0 in each. The classes included psych, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, bio and chem.
