I have yet to professionally tutor anyone, but I have a lot of experience aiding others with homework and questions. I have always received high grades in all of my courses, with over a 4.0 G.P.A. in high school, so I am very knowledgeable and would be able to assist in many subjects. I have been involved in offering educational services since I was in high school, when I tutored younger students in math, Spanish, research writing, and general elementary subjects. A career in education was a natural choice, and I have taught both ESL and Spanish, with experience in elementary and secondary teaching, as well as teaching online.
Having taught small and large classes, as well as one-on-one, I am a firm believer in the benefit that one-on-one and small group instruction can offer for students. As a teacher, I love being able to identify and capitalize on students' interests and strengths. Working with such a diverse population of students ranging from grades 3-12, I have learned that each child processes information in different ways.
