A Little Bit About Me...

I have always possessed superior writing skills and am knowledgeable in my fields. I substituted in public and private schools and tutored in many local school districts, most recently Valley West. I taught at a charter school and an alternative school and have a lot of experience creating interesting and varied lessons. Also, I get along well with students and families.

I completed my bachelor degree in English in three and a half years at Bucknell University, and this has trained me in writing, literary analysis, and oral communication. While at Bucknell, I spent four months tutoring children at a local elementary school in grades 3-5 in math, science, and reading. I, also, completed Bucknell’s Writing Center four month training course for tutoring in all types of writing. I spent a full year tutoring peers, underclassmen, and even graduate students in their writing process. Finally, for the last three years, I have taught techniques of interpreting the Bible to college and high school students at my local church in both group and one-on-one settings.
