A Little Bit About Me...

I have a laid back teaching style, prefer the student to have fun while learning new and interesting things. I prefer the Socratic style.
Have taught many of my peers in a wide variety of subjects including history, science, and math. I also taught Introductory Biology lab course at the University of Dayton. I have also taught in a more informal environment at the Great Lakes Science Center, where I ran science day camps for grades 2-8. Also played varsity football in college, which I would be more than happy to tutor in as well. I graduated from Oberlin College in 2012 where I majored in Biology. I have helpe my 9th grader accelerated two years ahead in math in two years just because she could an dI was there to help her. I am currently tutering my teenager in chemistry and she said I explain it better than the teacher. She went from a 60 on the first test to getting A's in chemistry now.
