My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. My third year I started teaching Specialized Preschool and did this for many years until I retired last year. My students had many exceptionalities. Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I feel that young students learn best when they can physically learn, such as through blocks/puzzles/interactive learning devices and other similar approaches. I try to let the student use their hands as much as I can to aid in their learning process.
