I graduated in May of 2010 with my BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas in San Antonio. I have taken all math courses from College Algebra to Calculus 3. A Little Bit About Me...

I'm very laid back and just enjoy being around children. Every child is different and has different interests and difficulties. One box does not fit all, and it's a matter of figuring out how to relate to the child at hand and make the subject matter appealing to them that I enjoy the most.
I spent 4 years in college teaching preschool, as well as 2 years as a high-needs reading tutor for the psych dept at my university. I have worked with children in the public school system for thirty-four years as a classroom teacher, Title I augmented reading teacher and as a media specialist. Largely due to my years experience as a reading teacher my class of inner city children scored in the top one percentile on the Georgia Criterion Reference Test(GA CRCT) in Reading.
