As a result of my post-high school studies in mathematics and business, I feel I'm suited to tutor people in those subjects. Statistics, quantitative methods, and analytical methods are my strongest subjects. Additionally, I have college graduate level skills in English/grammar, science, and social studies. Although theses were not part of my major, I do have above high school skills to share with those who need help in those subjects. I am comfortable tutoring lower level math classes, mechanical design, or other engineering classes. Writing classes such as English, literature, or fine arts are fine as well. I have a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering from MIZZOU. I am very proficient in technical editing, critiquing papers and writing technical papers.
Hands on, Practice based, through step by step instruction. Visual learning whenever applicable. Geometry, algebra, physics, and some calculus are in my range of teaching. I am very patient as long as the student is trying to learn and cares about the work. Mental support of students is half the battle.
