College Undergrad Looking to Tutor English Students

While I have never conducted a formal tutoring session, I have edited the work of my peers and more recently assisted my girlfriend's younger sister with the completion of her college essay. From my experience, I have found that I prefer to work one-on-one with the student whose work I am editing. That way, I am able to explain my revisions and help them understand my reasoning behind making certain edits. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I took a variety of creative writing courses both in high school and college, and have a strong passion for the subject. I am experienced in both storyline, plotline, and the various aspects of the creative writing process, such as character development or exposition.

I am currently a Sophomore at Northeastern University's College of Engineering, where I plan to receive a B.S and M.S in civil and environmental engineering with a minor in mathematics.
