When tutoring, I try to meet the students needs by utilizing methods of teaching which take into consideration the student's learning style. I explain concepts using visual representations as well as numerical/algebraic models. I am a very patient teacher who will find various ways of explaining math concepts, until I find one that works for the student. My comments on tutoring Geometry : I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics and have experience teaching undergraduates and graduates.

Recently, I received my BS in Mathematics and BA in Physics, with honors. Most recently I have been selected to conduct clases in math for students wanting to get their GED. I have worked in the public school sytem as an aide for special needs children in the middle school. At the middle schoool I was asked to do tutoring for students in math. I have taught business practices for a large financial services company. I taught computer topics at a community college. I have also taught wood carving to students from age 12 to 98. Lastly I have taught Sunday School for the last 7 years to middle school students.
I try to find an area of interest in the student and then show how learning the material we are discussing relates to that interest.
