I believe I have a natural ability to work with students of all ages. Tutoring and being able to help students understand certain topics is very rewarding for me. I truly enjoy doing helping others. My teaching style is somewhat laid-back, but students know that I expect them to learn to their fullest potential. My style of art is hands on and viewer participations. I had the opportunity to begin my teaching career in Miami, Florida. I taught 4th & 5th graders at a private academy. I was able to learn much from my students who represented more than 15 different countries. My semester immersion experience in Costa Rica helped me to understand my students and their families better. While in Miami I tutored 5 different aged children, in various home and school settings.
