After entering the workforce for a few years, I took a few classes in education to acquire my teaching license in comprehensive science at the secondary level. I have tutored slightly at my present community college. I tutored math. I have my Associates of Arts degree in Psychology and am currently in the process of obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Education. I plan to teach Psychology in the future.
I love working with all types of people, as helping people is a great passion of mine. I find it effective to teach by relating to something that the person I am teaching really enjoys. For example if they love basketball, I may try to relate the subject to it, to make it easier to learn. I have a lot of patience and usually have no problem helping someone. I know all it takes is time and hard work to achieve their goals.
