I believe it is because they knew how to inspire and motivate me to achieve what I thought I couldn’t or didn’t want to do. I achived a high level of proficiency in math from a very young age and finish Advanced Calc 3 and a half years ago. I greatly enjoy finding a way to inspire a child to understand the problem at hand. Through from my experience in grade school and my observation of students that attend tough schools I've realized the monotonous class schedule and disciplinary philosophy of most schools deflates most student's desire to succeed.
