I have ten years experience teaching at the college undergraduate level at Canisius College, and five years at Hilbert College. I have been teaching Music History and Music Appreciation classes and always put the music into the social context in which it was produced. I have also taught World Music and Afro-Centric classes and again, place the content in its social context. Prior to this I had a number of years teaching Social Studies and English classes as a guest artist/musician in numerous area high schools. These have included both full classes and individual tutoring sessions. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a great deal of customer service experience working for both M&T Bank and Key Bank. I excelled in Reading and English subjects throughout school, reading multiple grade levels ahead of myself. I was a writer for Nardin Academy's newspaper and also for Canisius College's newspaper. I have teaching experience in home instruction in flute and piano.
I love teaching and helping children learn. My philosophy is that you have to make this information that your children are learning relatable to what they are going through. If you do this children will enjoy learning. I feel that it is also to make sure that you are helping children learn in a fun, yet productive environment.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with children ever since I can remember. I love to engage in creative activities with children while helping them utilize their strengths to overcome their limitations. I've learned that by figuring out what motivates a child, s/he can learn anything! I also know that if a child is having fun, it means that s/he is learning something. My teaching style is fun, unique, focused, hands-on and engaging.
I have spent my life working towards degrees that would help me to give my life meaning. I have earned a B.S. and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as, a bilingual extension in Spanish. Since I also love healing through nutrition and energy work, I've earned degrees in Health Counseling and Reconnective Healing. As I continue to learn myself, I hope to inspire people to do the same!
