While attending Claflin University in the pursuit of obtaining duel BA's in the field of journalism and sociology, my off times was spent in the middle schools of Orangeburg, SC for nearly six years. I spent 4-5 hours in the classroom (daily) as an assistant and tutor/mentor in language arts classes grades 6-8. As a graduate student earning a Master's degree, I have always worked very hard. In high school, I graduated with honors and throughout the journey of both degrees, I have always maintained at least a 3.5 GPA. I have always excelled in math. Directly after graduating, I began a career as an Academic Advisor in the Moore School of Business Undergraduate Division at the University of South Carolina. I currently still hold this job.
