I worked in the school system for over 20 years. I worked with elementary and primary age students for 16 years. I currently work in a high school as a Special Education teacher. I have been a nanny for a child with ADD for the past three summers. I know how to work with children with ADD very well because of that experience. I also was a volunteer teacher's aide for the first grade at my school my senior year of high school. I got to work with the children every day of that school year doing many different activities. I have also worked some with autistic children. I have shadowed speech pathologists that work with autistic children as well. I got to work even more with autistic children during that experience.

After completing my bachelor degree in Elementary Education, I began teaching First Grade. Each day I was responsible for a maximum of thirty children at a time. I taught Bible, Phonics, Reading, Spelling, Arithmetic, Poetry, Science, Health, Art, History, and Writing. During the four years of teaching, I have tutored various children with learning difficulties. Each day I tutored children in Arithmetic, Phonics, Reading, and Writing.
