My main goal working with children is to give them the help and support they need to achieve their own goals. Education is of paramount importance for a child's future, in order to not only establish financial security, but so that they may find a path in life. I know that in order for a child to find success, they need an adult who can listen, be patient, and understand each child's personal needs. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past 10 years, I have worked in my community, helping to better the lives of children. At age 15, I began mentoring young girls and volunteering for a non-profit organization, counseling developmentally delayed children and at-risk youth. I later went on to become a Behavioral Therapist, educating children with autism. My love for children (and passion for education) was the determining factor in the course of my college career. I attained a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2008 (graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.8). In addition to my Psychology degree, I also hold a certificate in Human Factors Engineering and recently published research in this field.
