After completing my graduate program and student teaching at Latham Ridge Elementary School, I became an aide within the same building. This position lent itself to filling in maternity years the following year. I was then hired as a sixth grade teacher and have been in that position since that time. At this point, I teach mathematics, reading, and writing. All of the students with special needs are placed into my classroom each year. A Little Bit About Me...

Growing up I dealt with dyslexia. I understand that each and every kid has a different learning style and not one style is better then the rest. My goal is to make learning as much fun as possible by pin-pointing the learning style of the student and finding ways to make learning more interesting. My most important goal is to teach children that everyone has the skills to excel and that learning can be fun.
