Drama is one of my top subjects! I graduated with a B.A. in Theatre. I studied and have experience in all aspects of theatre from technical to performance. I have experience in straight, Shakespeare (my preference) and musical theatre. Some of the plays I have been in are Les Mis, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Godspell, Steel Magnolias, etc, as well as many acting classes.

I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a B.A. in Theatre. I took the performance track but I also studied the technical side of theatre. I have experience in everything from directing to stage management, playwriting to design, build to running sound and lights. In the performance track I studied character and script analysis, acting techniques, movement, voice, audition techniques, play review, etc. I know how to take the script to performance and also how to write about what I have done or seen. Beyond theatre I am a riding instructor. I began as a volunteer and age eight. I was certified at sixteen and have been teaching my own group and private lesson since. As a psychology major I was fascinated with how the mind works in all arenas. I learned the various methodologies used in teaching people and found in my tutoring that finding a way to present even the most difficult material in a manner to make it understandable is greatly satisfying. Through tutoring and teaching others I gained a higher comprehension of the material at hand and learned more about both myself and people in general. I firmly believe that there's no such thing as an idea or topic that can not be taught to someone who wants to learn regardless of academic leveling.
For as long as I can remember I have loved to learn. Through college I tutored in psychology, english, the arts, statistical math, and certain classifications of sciences. My favorites were psychology and english because of the freedom you can give due to interpretaional material.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate years at the University of Oregon, I spent several months in Mexico teaching English to children ranging in age from 6-15. During this time I perfected my Spanish as well, and wrote many papers in both Spanish and English. While pursuing my Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Tulsa, I taught Kumon math classes to children, and fellow Engineering students in electronics. I have kept up my French reading and speaking skills. Recently I have been intensively studying dance, especially salsa, Argentine tango, and African, and have been taking some ballet classes.
