My career in education includes a wide range of experience. I began as a substitute teacher covering for classroom teachers ranging from preschool to the 12th grade. My innate teaching abilities became evident and I was highly sought after. Returning to college to earn my teaching certification, I gained experience in special education teaching summer school. I student taught 3rd and 4th grade, then was hired to teach 5th grade which I did for 2 years. Returning to my love of special education, my taught for another 3 years. During this time, I successfully tutored many students in language arts, math and social studies.

Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. That led to my doing teaching seminars, which led to consulting, which led to training, which led to my working with individuals as a life coach.
