When I tutor students, I ask where they feel they need the most help and where they are doing well, to help them with their uncertainties and increase their confidence. Instead of just giving the students the answers, I will show them where to find the answers. Once the student works out the problem with I, I instruct the student to try a similar problem without my help, to deepen their grasp of the material, and to show them they can do it. A Little Bit About Me...

While pursuing my Engineering degree at Roger Williams University, I noticed that there were not too many students from low income families attending college. That is why I joined Bridge to Success Program on January 2001. BTS was a program, sponsored by Roger Williams University at the time, which focused in assisting and encouraging students from low income families as well as minorities. I served as a mentor for five years in the program. I helped a number of students go into college and helped them improved their grades in math and science. Thorough my dedication and commitment, I was awarded the mentor of the year award in 2004. It has been by far one of the most honorable acknowledgments I have received.
