I worked also with Après la classe (“after classroom”) – 16, rue Commines BP 3003 75121 Paris Cedex 3 – as a tutor from November 1999 to January 2000 and had three pupils: a little girl of 6 years old; we did a lot of reading, a teenager of 13 years old (her sister); we repeated her History and a student of 20 years old that was studying to be a midwife and had bad marks in French literature: I tried to make her love to read but I think that today, I would do better: I would give her some “tricks” to succeed: how to read a text, what “turns” to look for, how to call them (those parts), what for, what do they support, and so on...
