A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in creating value to the learners. It is not enough to repeat, or write what is in a text book. The job of a teacher is to create interest of the students in the subject being learned. I use different examples, and show how the the material being learned is relevant to a real world problem.
I worked in the Finance Industry (UBS Financial, and Wachovia securities). Also I have taught as an adjunct faculty in University of Saint Thomas, Metro State University, and various community colleges. I taught various economics, and finance classes. Also I taught developmental math to community college students. I have also taught my two children. My older son is graduating with degrees in Mathematics and Economics from University of Minnesota. I love teaching student who needed help to the best of my knowledge. I believe that everyone is able to learn and reach their goal in their own way or with a little help. I am skilled at working with students who need help; I am highly motivated to provide information and solutions to potential and existing leaning methodology.
I have developed numerous skills set in the area of quality control testing and reviewed documents under the general guide line and established protocol which abide by the FDA. Although my career was based in industrial analytical chemistry and biology, I also voluntarily tutored my nephews, neices, my wife, and groups of Oromo student at my community with math, Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology and general biology both at high school level and college level.
